Safety & security window film will upgrade existing glass to safety glass providing protection against window shattering in the event of an accident, vandalism or burglary. The safety & security window film holds broken glass in place, preventing the broken glass from shattering into dangerous shards of glass thus providing protection against serious injuries. The safety & security window film has solar control properties to block out 98% of harmful UV radiation, this helps to reduce fading of interior furnishings.

The safety & security window film is manufactured with a scratch resistant hard coating to reduce the risk of scratch damage during normal maintenance. Installation of the safety & security window film will comply with Regulation 14 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992. The Regulation requires that glass in high-risk locations - below waist height (800mm) in windows and below shoulder height (1500mm) in doors must be protected against breakage.

Examples of use

	Used for Shop Front This shop was being attacked at weekends by vandals after the pub. A full application of film across all windows provides protection from the windows breaking in and broken glass spreading this also stops any would be theifs gaining access via the glazing.
